Naypyitaw Technological University is located in Myitta Myaing Street, Dhana Theikdi Ward, Zabuthiri Township, near Ingyin Market. According to the approval of Union Government Institutional Order No. (8/2022), the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, held on November 1st 2022, Ministry of Science and Technology, under the Department of Technical and Vocational Education and Training, Government Technical College (Naypyitaw) and English Language Proficiency School (Naypyitaw) were acquired and upgraded to Naypyitaw Technological University under the Department of Advanced Science and Technology, (220) civil servant positions, and staff positions (311), a total of (531) positions were allowed to be organized, and the Ministry of Science and Technology letter No. of the Minister’s Office dated (4.11.2022) TaPaNa/Governance (structure) /2022 (7506); Notification No.(145/2022) and was opened on (12.11.2022) by the Chairman of the State Administration Council, the Prime Minister, Senior General Min Aung Hlaing.
