About Our Department

             Our civil engineering department of Naypyidaw Technological University (NTU) in Myanmar warmly and eagerly welcome you. Civil engineer is a professional engineer that capable of the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including public works such as roads, bridges, canals, dams, airports, sewage systems, pipelines, structural components of buildings, and railways. Our department is established in November 2022. It is one of the strongest and well-established Academic Departments in our university. In current, the department is organized by 1 Senior Professor, 2 Lecturers, and 2 Tutors. Our department is research-oriented, and mainly focus on outcome-based education system. In our department, Group Researches are doing in every year to enhance the capability of students such as communication skills and lifelong learning skills by attempting integrated design project, Industrial training, field trips, excursions and thesis. We all Civil Engineers face new changes and challenges day by day to the advancing new technologies and new lifestyles. Our civil department aims to produce civil engineering professionals with academic spirit and ethics who can contribute well to the social environments. It provides teaching and researches activities mainly in the specialization area of :
