The Naypyitaw Technological University (NTU) strives to produce engineers and architects who will make excellent leaders in a variety of fields. The University provides a huge selection of undergraduate and post graduate degree programmes.
Students who have passed the university entrance examination in recent academic year and have (4) subjects (English, Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry) total score of 300 and above can apply directly to the Department of Higher Education.
Undergraduate courses are taught in two semesters in a year. The first semester starts in December and ends in March. The second semester starts in June and ends in September.
The bachelor’s degree programme is a challenging foundation program that aims to equip students with the skills they will need to fulfill the ever evolving educational demands of the twenty-first century.
The candidate must pass the university entrance examination and gets at least a total of(300) marks for four languages in English, Mathematics, Chemistry and Physics can apply to the undergrade programme at the Naypyitaw Technological University.
The candidate must study for six years in order to earn a bachelor’s degree. There are two semester in an academic year. The students must have at least 75% attendance in every lecture for taking exam.
The Students who meet the criteria will be awarded the following degrees in the specialized subjects.
- B.E (Civil Engineering)
- B.E ( Electronic Engineering)
- B.E (Electrical Power Engineering)
- B.E ( Mechanical Engineering)
- B.E ( Computer Engineering and Information Technology)
- B.Arch( Architecture)
If a candidate gets the CGPA Grade 4 for five years from the second to the last year, he or she will be eligible to attend directly to the master program without taking the entrance examination.
